Deselect amenity radio buttons

Hi I am just wondering if there is a way to deselect the radio buttons without scrapping my listing and starting again. I provide so many family amenities for babies and beside each amenity I regrettably selected “always at the listing”. I would like to remove that completely and revert back to simply “High Chair”, because having it say that all these babies amenities are at my listing all the time has conveyed to guests without babies that my place is cluttered with needless baby amenities (changing table, high chair, baby monitor, baby bath, pack n play etc.). Having it say “Guests must request it” is less than ideal as well for guests with babies as many don’t want to ask out of fear of being high maintenance in their review of them. I would prefer it to simply state the amenities without the added emphasis that can lead to cold feet.

Thank you for your assistance

Hi @Brandon88

I understand what you mean.

In the meantime, one way to address your concerns and work around it, is to tick "on request" and when you see a booking with an infant, you ask right away from your side which items they may need.

Removing the details may not be a good idea. The word is that Airbnb "mines" the amenities section for these details and the algorithm uses that data to match guests in search results. This could mean not only would Airbnb consider your listing "incomplete" without those details, you could be overlooked in search results depending on the guest searching. This is probably why you can't remove details once added (you can change the details but not remove), as Airbnb wants you to have those there. Also, "crib" is a search filter, but that has some controversy, as I don't consider a pack n play as a crib, but others do.

I suggest to my clients they take a photo of all the child friendly amenities in one photo and add to the listing:

High Chair

Pack & Play (show it setup)

Changing Table

Baby Bath

Baby Monitor

Child dinnerware (sitting on high chair tray)

Add a caption that your provide kid-friendly amenities always available in the listing, or available upon request - whichever you want to do.

Guests are not going to consider your listing "cluttered" if you are not showing all these amenities in deployed in other photos.
