Do you have a Co-host, or are you a Co-host yourself?

Hello everyone,

Having extra help with hosting can sometimes be fundamental to offer an excellent service. This is where a Co-host could play a very important role for Hosts. Delegating activities such as check-in, check-out, cleaning or responding to guest messages could be some of the tasks you as a Host could pass on to your Co-host. 

I have seen conversations regarding Co-hosting, with topics varying from those looking for Co-hosting services to discussions about how much commission one should pay to their Co-hosts, and even how Hosts manage their Co-hosts. 

Do you have a Co-host for your listing(s), or are you a Co-host yourself? Have you considered using one (or multiple) on a temporary basis?

Yes I have a co-host. My daughter helps me with both our listings.

That amazing @Rhoda29 - as I mentioned in another post, it's great to have family and friends helping out! 

Do she spend a lot of time helping you out with managing both listings?

No Cohost, I handle everything myself with the help of my cleaners.

I do not use a co-host and I am not one. I am fine with the way it works

without help.

I do have a co-host. But it's a bit of a cheat. It's my daughter and she lives on the bottom floor of our "under-over" duplex. Knowing someone is on site 24-7 has been helpful for keeping partiers away. But also, I can be out of town and know there's someone always around. (and vice versa).

She's so great. One of our repeat guests early on used to bake cookies for her when they visited. She didn't have the heart to tell them she was allergic to nuts so I was the beneficiary. I live around the block so it's been fun to reset the apartment together and strategize.

She was thrilled when Airbnb asked us to film footage about how we set up and manage the space. All smiles and jokes about being the future owner (which is actually my intent.) 🙂

I do have a co host   She helps with bookings and inspection of the property before guests arrive

Hi , yes I do have co host , she helps receiving the guests , organize the apartment
