Does 'Smart Pricing' option helps ?

Does Smart Pricing helps to get more revenue or more bookings?

Smart pricing is not as smart as it Airbnb describes it is. I use it on some of my listing, but only with a small bandwidth. The lower limit is.actually the price i would have set without Smart Pricing enabled.

Sometimes Smart Pricing goes to the upper limit, i never understood why. But it works, there is some secret mechanism hidden in it which can be an "added value" to hosts (earn more money).

Thanks @Emiel1 for insights and you are right but I always end up getting it disabled by adding custom price for the specific week. However, I have never seen that it has given "more money" within any range. 

Well, is there any guidebook to use this smart pricing efficiently??

@Vivek143 - I use it but I think it works best after you have gotten a year's worth of bookings at the price you set.  Then it has data to use.  Also, the minimum price you set should be the price YOU want.  Don't accept Airbnb's suggested minimum.
