Editing conditions on new guests

When I first edited my house, I decided I wanted only guests that already have rented in airbnb before, not new ones.

Now I want to change that and make my house available for any type of guests, new or old in airbnb.

How can I do that? Thanks.

Your listing is still showing Experienced First Guests only:

To change to any guest, you must go to Your Account Settings to change that:

Hi @Jorge3138 ,

You can change that setting in your booking preferences. Go to your listing, click on Guest requirements, and uncheck the option that limits your bookings to experienced Airbnb guests only.

Once you save the changes, your property will be available to all guests, including new users.

It’s that simple!

Hi @Jorge3138

I’m happy to see that Selome’s answer helped you understand how to edit the guests you’ll be receiving. Have you already applied their directions?

Best,

Alex

Hello @Alex , thank you for your concern.

Unfortunately, the option to uncheck only experienced guests is not available in my screen.

I am attaching the screenshot (it´s in Spanish) but it only shows requirements for travellers about photo and identity verification, but there is no way to uncheck experienced guests only.

That options is only available for new hosts.

They can choose their  first booking can only be made by an experienced guest.

After the first booking the option is no longer applicable.

Hi @Jorge3138

Thanks for sharing the screenshot that helps clarify the situation.

The option to allow only experienced guests is a temporary setting that Airbnb gives to brand-new hosts for their first booking only. After you receive your first reservation, that setting disappears automatically and can’t be turned on or off anymore.

So don’t worry if you no longer see the option, it means your listing is already open to all guests, including new Airbnb users. There’s nothing else you need to change on your side.

Wishing you many great bookings ahead! 😊

Very good explanation. Thank you.
