Hi all,
The house we rent out is on an island, and it has no official house number. And the road it's on, is just called R319. AirBnB won't let me enter this as an exact address even if I enter the Eircode.
Did anybody else in Ireland or other countries ever experience something similar? What do I do?
Thanks in advance, cool peeps!
Kind regards,
Mareike

@Mareike56 we had a similar problem. As a result we just put in random addresses until it was accepted. The location pin is close enough to the property and we just send each guest detailed instructions to find us.

Cool, thank you, I will keep trying that...
It's a bit funny because no guest ever got lost or had to camp out because they couldn't find it. I suppose places like Ireland are just a bit different than the general address world expects! 😉
Thanks again, have a good weekend!
Hi @Mareike56 ,
How did you get on with @Mike-And-Jane0 's suggestion? Did it work for you?
This is something I can take away and suggest to Airbnb to improve on. 😊 I'll keep you updated if there I hear anything.
Hi, I hope you are doing well.
When registering my property on Airbnb, I encountered an issue where the app wouldn't accept my exact address, which turned into a real hassle as guests would end up at the wrong locations following the map. I decided to reach out to Airbnb's customer service, where a very friendly representative assisted me. Thanks to their help, I was able to accurately register my address using geographic coordinates, a process during which they also offered guidance on how to determine these coordinates.
