Guest wants friend to stay

Hi everyone, I could really do with some advice. A guest has booked a room for a week starting this Monday, she’s now saying she will only be here 3 nights & the rest of the days she’s arranged for her friend to stay be here and she’s going to stay with her boyfriend.

if I agreed to this, would I be covered by airb&b? Is this allowed? I feel like she should have asked me before telling me a friend of hers is now going to be here?! 
I have only been hosting 3 weeks so it’s all new to me.

any help I would really appreciate!

Forget Airbnb, whether this is 'covered' or allowed (btw the official answer being no), they are not your employer nor is the guest.

Always use your judgement and caution over your life and place.

Yes thanks for your good advice. I have told her I can’t allow unauthorised guests.  Now all of a sudden her friend has found somewhere to stay. The mind boggles!

No kidding. Yes, oftentimes 'no' is the toughest word for many of us kind-hearted souls to say.

Anisa, request / suggest to her to book for he nights she is staying and her friend can make a fresh/ seperate booking with her ID.

Thank you Sangeeta, her friend found somewhere else & she’s now staying the full week again. All a bit odd!!
