Hello hosts!

I hope you're all having a fantastic day! I wanted to bring up a topic that can really enhance our guests' experience: quiet hours.

Have you added quiet hours in your listing description?

Setting quiet hours can be a thoughtful way to ensure everyone has a peaceful stay, especially for those who may be looking to unwind or catch some much-needed rest. It's a simple yet effective way to show your guests that you care about their comfort.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences! How have you approached this in your listings?

Looking forward to your insights! 😊

Thank you so much for sharing that you don't have quiet hours @Alexandros126 - is there a reason that you haven't added any?

Hi! We have quiet hours listed from 10pm-7am. We have not had to enforce them as our guests are respectful. I think I’ve seen quiet hours vary from 9-9, 10-6, 11-7. We thought 10-7 was a nice medium as school days we may be up from 7 but we are quiet in case our guests in the ADU suite are sleeping in.

Thank you so much for sharing that with us @Lorina14, a great way to balance everyone's needs!

Have you found that your quiet hours have helped create a more relaxed atmosphere for your guests?

@Rebecca

I’ve always stayed at Airbnbs that had quiet hours. It helps to manage expectations for hosts and guests. Some cities have ordinances for quiet hours (Lake Tahoe in the summer, etc.)

I think it helps guests relax knowing what to expect and they can choose to stay at locations that match their needs and budget.

@Lorina14 Totally agree. Quiet hours can really set the tone and make things smoother for everyone. As a guest, I always look for places that suit my needs, for example if I'm at a wedding or event, I wouldn't choose a space that had early quiet hours. It’s nice when the expectations are clear from the start, especially in more residential or peaceful areas. 😊
