Hello from Kentucky - Critique my listing
Hi everyone!
My name is Erick. My wife and I are new to hosting in Airbnb. We have a beautiful 1980's house in Lexington, Kentucky that we have remodel and brought back to life. My wife and I will really appreciate any good advice - from house rules, guess expectations, property damage reporting and things that can elevated the stay of our guess or anything else you guys can think of that would be helpful.
Highly recommend visiting Bourbon Distillery's if you ever come to Kentucky. Fun fact: 95% of the world's bourbons is made here in Kentucky.

Welcome to the Community! This is the right place to get good advice from experienced hosts. Just read through the many topics (there is also a search engine) and the FAQ’s and tutorials. Happy Hosting! (and never add ice cubes to a good Bourbon, @Erick682 )

Hi @Erick682 You and your wife have done a beautiful job on your home. Pics are wonderful. I’m not an expert but a a few suggestions: I would remove the two words family friendly because no kids or pets are allowed. Spelling of word guest is incorrect. The info in additional info section needs to copied and pasted into your house manual. Would suggest condensing it because too long. I would suggest taking everything about cameras out except listing them within checklist of ad. I wouldn’t suggest they touch your cameras. Also, add a guidebook about nearby highlights. The main thing you want to convey from the part of ad that is on first pay is friendliness and being welcoming. Rules need to be further into ad. Also respond to your reviews publicly. Overall doing a great job.

Hello Erick -
Welcome to hosting! You have a beautiful home and listing!
My suggestion is to really detail your home description, it is such a lovely place, and guests reading about what a home has to offer.
My partner and I host our home in Oaxaca, Mexico. I have been an active part of the Host Community and have written a short guide to help Host improve their listing.

Hello @Erick682, welcome to the Airbnb Community Center 😊
I just googled "Bourbon Distillery", and it's definitely a place I'd like to visit when in Kentucky.
Have you had a chance to read the advice from our lovely Hosts? Perhaps adding a bit more information to the description could be helpful?
Please keep us posted.
