Hi All, I have a listing that requires building management approval. I have sent this information 4 times to ****.  I have not received a response after the stated deadline.  I called airbnb customer support and they stated that I should reach out to building management at the location and speak to the community manager.  Airbnb did not have any contact info... so frustrating.  Has anyone ever gone through this situation.  My listing is in a building in anaheim.

Why would you be contacting Airbnb about your need to get building management approval for your STR business?

why aren't you speaking to your building management company 

 

why do you expect airbnb to have contact information for your building management company ?

Hi, this my first listing with Airbnb and I completed all the requirements.  All that was pending was a building management review.

 

Here is a section of the e-mail I received from Airbnb

Make a few changes to start hosting

Your building’s management reviewed your listing and requested that you make the following changes before publishing.  Once you’ve made these changes, re-submit your listing to your building’s management for confirmation.

 

Here’s what they said:

Thank you for submitting your listing request. Please send us the following information to airbnb @ wyn.com so we can review your listing for approval: an active and valid reservation confirmation number and the resort listing location. These listings will be reviewed Monday through Friday. Thank you!

I submitted this information with no response, I called Airbnb support and they said my approval process is handled by a group that is separate from Airbnb but they will try and reach out and see if they can resolve my issue.

 

What I received in response to Airbnb is the above e-mail again.  So I resubmitted the requested info.  I received no response after 5 days which was pass the building management review time.  I called Airbnb support and they suggested I call building management and speak to the community manager... I asked Airbnb if they have any contact info and they said no and gave me this link to the community and see if I can get some support here.  Its really frustrating since I have been waiting for this approval since April 5th.

 

Anyway, to answer you question, I expected that Airbnb will have support for all aspects of the hosting process and it seems it does not.  Again this is my first listing and I am fumbling around to get my issue resolved.
