Hi, and i'm new to airbnb and i'm wondering how I can find out if my listing is public. Also, how to get better ratings and reviews and higher up in the listings. I can't find my place when I type it in. Thanks for your help.

I did a search and don't see it yet? Sometimes it takes up to 48 hours for your listing to appear.

Checked this morning and you're on Page 1 (number 1 spot)!  You have the Airbnb *New* callout on the cover photo thumbnail.
