Host with 23 new listings and no profile info or reviews

Hi Everyone! Should I worry about booking with a new host (1 month) that has 23 brand new listings (in various Caribbean islands) with no reviews and she has no details in her profile? Is that normal that a new host would get all these new listings at once? Photos aren't blurry, but the listings at the same property as each other have the exact same fluffy copy. Thanks for your help/advice!

Hmmm...does seem odd. If you are planning a vacation to the Caribbean, don't think I would risk booking any of the listings without a proven track record (reviews). Is the Host an individual name or a business name? Lack of Host profile info also makes me suspicious.

I would definitely go with something more credible^^ Yes, they could be batch publishing their properties and fixing as things go, but I wouldn't place my vacation in the hands of a new listing (if there's no WOW factor)

Hi @Emilie - thank you for asking! We did find a place but not through Airbnb. It got really frustrating that it seems many listings were not accurate, or legit, and once I'd contact the host, they would say there was minimum nights or a price change etc and that info wasn't stated on the listing. We ended up just going direct to a couple hotels. Monica
