Hello dear fellow hosts. I took a break from hosting as I moved into my old airbnb space.
I finally converted my garage into a studio. Being that the ceiling is high, my fiance convinced me to add a loft, which came off nicely.
So what we got now is more like a tiny house then a studio. Is it a 2 bedroom guest suite? Or is it still a studio with a loft?
Kinda confused how to best position myself on airbnb and not mislead future guests.
Suggestion on price range welcome too. Seems like studios in my area are $74 and $114 right now.
Maybe once I have the right description, my pricing strategy will be more clear.
Hugs and kisses

@Val4219 I would not call it a two bedroom. I think you'll run into problems with guests who don't read (most guests). A bedroom has a door and a closet (to get technical about it). It's a one bedroom with a loft that sleeps up to 4.
@Val4219 Guest suite implies to me it is accessed through the house. Studio implies the bedrooms open to the rest of the space.
If it has private external access and bedrooms with doors is it not a 2 bedroom apartment?
@Mike-And-Jane0 thanks for the response. I changed the listing from guest suite to 1 bedroom apartment being that it's an open space with a ladder leading to the small loft. It's a unique design and it's gonna make it fun to play with a catchy description.
@Flavia202 indeed it is! So I will go with 1 bedroom apartment with loft. Thank you

@Kia272 I feel that you are indeed correct in your assessment. I will make it a 1 bedroom apartment
I don't see where in airbnb to list it as a studio. Apartment is the closet description. Thank you.
Actually, @Val4219 I may have misspoken. If there's an option to list as a Studio (w/loft), you should probably choose that.
