How do I explain to people how to find my listing ?

I’m not sure how to make it easier to see my listing? We looked on the client side and can’t find it?

Hi @Patrice425 ! Welcome!

This is the URL for your listing:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/939212457492438037?

It looks like you just published your listing? It sometimes takes up to 48 hours for a listing to appear in searches after going live. Keep checking. If anyone searches by date, they need to search for 2nights, as that is your minimum stay at the moment. Once your listing starts to appear, Airbnb gives you a "boost" in search results with the "New" callout on your thumbnail photos. You should appear at the top of the list in search results while you have the "New" status.

It might be helpful to read the Airbnb Article below on Understanding your listing settings:

You can also create a custom URL for your listing and share that:

I see you are accepting pets. You might want to add some additional House Rules regarding pets to save you some headaches going forward. Below is a link to another thread on Pet Policies.

Great thank you for the great information. I will read up on these topics. Will be adding house rules as well. My husband tried to search for it and couldn’t find it. So maybe the 2 day minimum was the reason.

Thank you

Hello @Patrice425,  Agree with @Joan2709 , give it at least 24hours if you just published.

While customizing Airbnb links is not mandatory, it can provide hosts with valuable marketing advantages and enhance their overall online presence, ultimately leading to more inquiries, bookings, and a stronger brand identity.

Customized links allow hosts to create a personalized and memorable web address that reflects their brand or listing name. It can help hosts establish a distinct identity and promote their listings more effectively across different marketing channels, such as social media.

Customized links can include relevant keywords, location names, or unique identifiers that can enhance the search engine rankings of a listing. This can lead to increased organic traffic and exposure, as well as attract potential guests who are actively searching for accommodations in a specific area.

Here is a simple step by step on how to do it.

1. Open Airbnb app

2. Go to menu

3. Tap on your listing

4. Under listing tab, scroll down to "Custom Link"

5. Tap the current link to edit

6. Remove the auto generated alpha numeric link but leave all Airbnb root link until /

7. Type in your unique link or your own brand

8. Tap update link button to save
