How to add registration number?

Probably a common question, but I don't see the answer anywhere and I can't figure it out. How does one add their registration number / business license number? I have an old one on my listing, but apparently I need to renew it. But for the life of me I can't find it, and all the answers I find online lead to very old solutions that don't work anymore.

Yes @Dawn241 , you and all those who don’t find “Regulation” in their listing, would do well to follow @Joelle43 ‘s advice and report this issue to the CS.

Customer service says my city doesn’t require registration- well they sure do- so that means the city of bisbee az never contacted Airbnb with their requirements.

Sorry to hear that @Dawn241 .

Here in Italy we have to add our registration number CIN (National Identification Code) to all our ads and even put it at the entrance of our accommodation and/or on the public street.

Last year Airbnb was fined with 576 million euros for failing to collect and remit tourist rental taxes to the Italian revenue agency as required by law since 2017. So, from January 2025, Airbnb will suspend all Italian listings that do not add the CIN to the listing to avoid incurring further sanctions from the Italian government.

Was anyone able to get this figured out? My registration was denied by the City of Chicago so Airbnb stopped letting me host. The City of Chicago accepted my appeal and allowed me to renew but I cant figure out how to update Airbnb.

I finally got it sorted out with help from custumer support. I think reaching out to them directly is the only way.

Are you running your listing under a company rather than through a personal account?  If so,  you need to switch on Professional tools to enter your business details.
