How to change a default language in the listings?

Hello, I would like to change the default language of my listing, as I can only add language but cannot affect another default language.

could you please help? as every airbnb communication I receive is in this default language…

Hi @Michael9401 ,

Currently, Airbnb sets the default language of a listing based on the host's location at the time of creation, and this default cannot be changed afterward.

While you can add additional languages to your listing, the original default remains unchanged.

To receive Airbnb communications in your preferred language, you can adjust your account's global preferences:

1. Log in to your Airbnb account.
2. Click on your profile picture and select "Account."
3. Navigate to "Global Preferences."
4. Under "Preferred Language," select your desired language.
5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

This adjustment will ensure that future communications from Airbnb are in your chosen language.
