How to get my address title to be more accurate.

Hi My listing is coming up with an address that is not quite right - how can I change it. I have tried on the location area of the listing but it is not working. Any help much appreciated.

You can choose between "specific location" and "general location". 

You can not change location (by moving around with "location editor") when there has been bookings already (then contact Airbnb)

You’re not alone — Airbnb sometimes auto-pins a location slightly off, even when the address is correct. Here’s what usually works for me as a host:

1. Go to Listing → Location
2. Click “Adjust on map”
3. Drag the pin to the exact spot and save

If the system still doesn’t update (it happens!), your next step is to contact Airbnb Support and ask them to manually refresh the map pin. They can correct it on their side in just a few minutes.

You’re on the right track — once the pin is refreshed, guests will see the accurate location.

thanks - the map pin is in the correct place it is more that my listing says Villa, Faro (which is a big city) and we are in the countryside outside a small village 25 minutes from Faro. I have had several bookings already - will I have to contact support?

On the listing it only says "Entire villa in Portugal", but when I search for it, the city is given as Faro (as you have said). I suppose when you look at this all together, we can assume the map doesn't auto-label the small towns nearby (and goes to either "Faro" or "Portugal" instead).

You clearly mention Santa Barbara De Nexe in the first paragraph. If you want to emphasise it more, you could move it to the first sentence. Other than that, I don't think there's much you can do (you can ask Support, not sure it will be successful).

What's important is that the pin must be correct so that it comes up when people search in that area. I did a private search for 19 to 31 July for Santa Barbara De Nexe and your listing showed up in second position. So it seems to work correctly in search.

I assume you only want it booked in July, as all dates until then have been blocked?

the puzzle is that other listings in Santa Barbara de Nexe are listed there, not Faro! I am about to open up the calendar a bit more.

I see what you mean @Rosie312 

If you take this search as an example, 4 of the listings are marked Santa Barbara de Nexe in their titles. Yours and one other one are marked Faro. They seem to be the two that are farthest away from the town center on the map, so it looks like they may fall outside a boundary and default to Faro (or Portugal on your listing page).

If it's important to you to have Santa Barbara de Nexe in the title you can ask Support. I'm not sure whether they'll be able (or keen) to overrule the settings on the map.
