Hi @Maricela57

There are always many factors in getting your listing up in the search results. Let me tag a couple insightful Hosts who often have some great suggestions to offer.

Maybe they can drop by if they've got a minute!  @Joan2709 @Bettye6

Hi @Maricela57

Took a quick look at your listing. Below are a few Airbnb Help articles and some suggestions. There are many factors the Airbnb algorithm uses to determine where your listing appears in search results. Some are dependent on the quality of the listing/Host and some relate to each particular guest that is searching:

Cover Photo & Quality of Photos

Your cover photo is the most important photo. You want to highlight your most unique amenity or what is special about your listing. Right now, the photo of the house exterior is dark, and empty- looking. I would change your cover photo to the kitchen photo for now. The wall to the left of the house numbers is a big, empty space. I would add something there. Also, try something to improve the curb appeal (planters, additional outdoor lights, flowers). Try getting a twilight shot of the exterior with all the lights on in the house and outside; retake the exterior photo. Take several at an angle and also straight on.

Consider Professional Photos

I would get professional photos done if you can. Photos (especially the cover photo) are key to a listing's success. It will be worth it and you may be able to write-off the cost as a business expense. I  (talk to your tax accountant). I don't see a picture of the laundry area (washer/dryer). That is important to alot of guests; especially families and those wanting to book long-term stays. Add a photo of the washer/dryer. Your outdoor space is also important, but your photo isn't very flattering. I would put some string lights up, turn on all the lights inside/outside. Set the table. If you don't have a BBQ grill I would add that to your amenities. Reshoot the outdoor space at twilight with all the lights on inside/outside. You mention a crib, but don't have a photo of it? Remember, you're trying to appeal to families.

Add Captions to Every Photo

This lets guests know what they are looking at. Use your photos to tell the story of the property.

Add a Map to Photos

Consider adding a map of the area that shows how close you are to all the shopping/malls you mention in your description.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes 😊

Thank you so much I will take in consideration your advice.

There’s an issue going around with homes being listed as rooms so filtering out when guests select entire house. Check other threads. I haven’t received bookings this past month. Airbnb glitch but they are taking their sweet time. You can manually override it.

Hi @Kaleigh12

Looks like the Airbnb bug with whole home searches has been corrected?  Did a search for Sweetwater, Fl whole home and @Maricela57 was number one in search results (still under the "new" Airbnb category).
