I am a superhost and I reported being discriminated against by a guests and felt I was mistreated because of racism. After I reported discrimination to Airbnb, Airbnb suspended my account
It appears I am being penalized for reporting discrimination while the individual who engaged in discriminatory behavior has been protected. I struggle to reconcile this outcome with Airbnb’s stated commitment to fostering a discrimination-free platform.
As you know, there are individuals who harbor biases against people of color. I believed Airbnb’s policies were designed to address such issues and to protect those who report them. I am trying to understand why my account was penalized for bringing this matter to your attention.
I was under the impression that I was in a safe space reporting racism and discrimination
I am an outstanding Airbnb superhost with highest ratings with the best Airbnb guest reviews left on my account who goes above and beyond for all my guests

I meet all my amazing guests to thank them personally and to show my guests all the custom features of my house because it is an ultra luxurious house.
From the minute I met my guest, she gave me a look of disgust from the beginning until I left the house after showing her all the features of my house. It really bothered me but I shrugged it off and focused on giving her and the rest of her friends the best service and texted them several times to let me know if they needed anything.
She later DM'd me asking for a toddler gate and I immediately went to Target with my young children to buy a toddler gate and went to the house to install it. Once again she looked at me with disgust and this time in front of my children.
I was always beyond polite to her the entire time on the DMs and asked her several times if she needed anything.
After her visit, 2 future guests canceled and all reservations stopped because she left the absolute worst review full of lies and made my house seem unsafe.
I called Airbnb several times until I spoke to a supervisor and after proving all her lies with pictures, the supervisor apologized and removed my amazing review from her account and removed her review full of lies from my account.
I immediately went on Airbnb app and complained about racial discrimination based on how she treated me and looked at me with disgust and how she tried to ruin account with a false review.
I used a racial words to describe the racism and how I was discriminated against. I thought I was in a safe space, but Airbnb decided to suspend my account because I used a racial words to describe racism.
I believed that Airbnb was against racism and discrimination, but after suspending my account even though I am a victim of racism, I am trying to understand why my account was punished for bringing this matter to Airbnb attention.
I was discriminated against once by my guest and once by Airbnb for reporting it and I reported it to to protect Airbnb and Airbnb guests from future racism and discrimination.
I am truly heartbroken how Airbnb treated me a victim a racism and discrimination
@Reza459 You can't accuse someone of racism and discrimination because of the way they look at you. Well, you can, but it's unproven and solely your opinion. A "look of disgust" can be caused by many things, or perhaps that's just the way this person's face looks all the time.
Regardless, I'm not sure what you expected AirBnB to do. They are not in the business of policing peoples' thoughts and attitudes.

Based on your response then there is no reason ever to complain about discrimination because it will always be subjective.
The main point is that I thought I was in safe space complaining about discrimination, however my account became suspended after reporting the discrimination
Imagine filling out a discrimination report to only get a response that Airbnb will now suspend your account

Thank you for taking the time to listen to me. Both times I met my guest in person, she gave me a look of disgust while I remained professional and courteous. Then she left me the most damaging review full of lies that I proved she was lying with pictures and Airbnb removed her review from my account because it was a retaliatory review.
I filed a discrimination report, and after Airbnb reviewed my report, Airbnb suspended my account, even though I am the person who reported the discrimination and I am the victim.

It's difficult to comment on the alleged racial discrimination as you haven't indicated what racist terms the guest used.
if your guest left a low rating depending on your other reviews or raised a safety concern this is more likely to have resulted in your listings being suspended rather than you saying the guest was being racist leading to your suspension.
Airbnb removed her review citing being a retaliatory review

Not completely related, but i was briefly suspended by the specialized safety team for reporting that a guest took his room's key with him after having checked out.
At the time, I felt like it was a bit backwards to suspend the person who reported the incident, but what I learned from that was not to report anything safety-related, as there is always the chance for it to backfire.
