You would need to do market research to understand this @Jade145
Most likely you're operating in an oversaturated market ?
Look at platforms like Airdna to see what supply and demand is like for your sort of listing in your location .
if you are getting decent reviews the best way to generate bookings is
1) list on all relevant STR platforms
2) set yourself up to take direct bookings and invest in targeted advertising to reach guests you've identified as your target market
Hi @Jade145 😊,
Thank you for bringing up this topic in the community!
I’m sorry about this, but it’s great that you’ve asked for a listing critique.
What do you think about Hele’s comment? She shared some great advice!
I’ll mention a few experienced hosts who will know how to suggest other solutions to you:
@Dave-and-Deb0, @Zheng49, @Karen1, @Laëtitia-Stephy0 and @Jim-and-Caroline0.
Thank you in advance, everyone!

Your home in Canyon Lake is beautiful! Your minimum reservation is 30 days; you should mention that at the top of your listing. As to your photos, maybe you have too many. You have 68 photos, so I suggest taking out the duplicates, or the similar photos. List some popular destinations nearby (lakes, ocean, Disney?) and give guests reasons to stay at your beautiful place. As a guest, I never book an Airbnb with a strict cancelation policy. Things happen and your place is expensive. Can you loosen your policy for a little while to see if this boosts your bookings? Definitely search surrounding Airbnbs to see if your rate is in line with similar properties.
I wish you success. - Karen
Thank you @Karen1 for your compliment and useful advice. I have updated/ uploaded my photo's recently and not able to attach them to each room (like in the old times )
My listing is and always was on flexible and not strict cancellation policy. Indeed it’s pricey ( for two years 2021-2023 it was the price without discount and I was mostly booked long term)
Now days I am offering 15-20% discount (discount not visible ) that is comparable with the few properties in my CL City.
Definitely have to work on destinations and more refinement .
I truly appreciate your🥰
feedback and helpful advice.
kind regards 💞
