I haven’t receive any inquiry in more than 3 weeks

Good evening, I am pretty new in hosting. We started 8/16/22 and were doing pretty good I’ll say until 3 weeks ago that suddenly it stopped completely. No questions, no bookings, nothing. I’ve been reading online, and the only thing I read that maybe happened is that I blocked some dates in October and November. I know it makes no sense but just after that everything stopped. Please help this is our vacation home and without renting we just can’t afford it. Thank you 🙏🏻

Are you editing your page daily, including rates? Even minor changes make a difference.

Yes. I swear I edit it at least 3 times a day. Prices, words, etc

I had even chat with Airbnb asking If I was blocked thinking I blocked myself or something and they say everything is fine.

Do you share on Instagram, Facebook, etc.? I’ve had dry spells but they usually do not last long. Also, diversify… post with Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, etc. you never want to put all your eggs in one basket.

Yes I share  in my social pages too

Try sharing your listing and inviting feedback from the community. You may get some great input.

@Vanessa1669  His listing is available under his @Yosvel1 link above (not @Yosvel0 ).

When I specify Sevierville, 3 bedrooms, under $160, I get 239 listings. I was able to find your listing in that group.

It could be a seasonal thing, with not that many people looking to book a cabin in Sevierville for the winter.

Were you able to analyze any type of historical data on this property before you bought it, to get an idea of the occupancy during various months? Looking at the 2019 data or before would have been best, as 2020 and 2021 were anomalies, especially for rural cabins. Everyone flocked to them during those years, but there is less interest now that people are able and willing to travel to more far-flung locations.

Hopefully it is just that. Again I have no experience but when people start renting for December? I thought November was a good season for renting but as a right now I have plenty of days available

When I bought the property it was just a house ( not a vacation rental) all that I did by myself . How do I share the listing so I get input ?

It’s odd, when I go to your profile on Airbnb, your listing is attached, but when I “View Airbnb Profile” from this community, it doesn’t show up. @Sybe  @Quincy  is there something Yosvel can do to make his listing visible from this community?

@Yosvel0

I changed your wording a little bit,

Keep it simple in this peaceful and centrally located three-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin.

It is away from the hustle and bustle, but close to all of Pigeon Forge's activities and fun.

Its entire interior has recently been renovated.

You want to stay at home? In a half acre, enjoy its wood fire pit, gas fire place, high speed internet, Comcast cable, and BBQ.

Do you want to enjoy Tennessee? less than 3 miles from Pigeon Forge's center and less than 12 miles from Gatlinburg It is conveniently located near a Publix.

Thank you

@Yosvel0

I dont think any one of us has the magic answer, we see a lot of host saying the same thing,

As others have mentioned already try other platforms,

VRBO, Tripadvisor, Booking, Agoda,

I must warn you there is a learning curve with all of them, for us here in Thailand airbnb is the number 1,

Another one to look at in America I think this one depends on your location

Furnished Finder usually for traveling nurses and longer stays,
