@Sharonne1 Welcome to the community! @Helen3 is correct. My understanding is that you need to have a permit which can be obtained through the Shelby County Clerk's office.

Good morning. That was my understanding as well. However when on the site to apply once I entered my address it gave me an error stating that I was outside the jurisdiction. Im not sure if its because our property is considered county and city since we pay both taxes. Really weird and you can never speak to a live person.
