Is it possible to complain about an Airbnb ambassador?

I had a really bad experience today with an ambassador arguing with me that that guests were not given a host phone number after ther booked.

I even showed him the airbnb documentation that showed that guests were given a phone number, and he kept on insisting it was something we had added to the listing, that airbnb did not supply it.

This conversation went on for about 2 hours.  I asked to escalate the issue 3 times, and he continued to argue.

I started a new thread, got a different ambassador, and got a response to my query within 3 minutes.

I want the first person removed as an Ambassador - quite frankly he is not an ambassador for the Airbnb brand - argumentative, not knowledgable, and refused to escalate.

Is this possible? How do I complain?
I do not want other hosts to go through what I went through!

Hello @Alison1248

You're right, hosts shouldn't have to argue with an Ambassador because their knowledge is completely inept on a given issue.  I have known  the same frustration as you when a CS rep insisted that what they were telling  me was correct and it's only when I sent them the Airbnb help link or screenshot that they finally backed down!  No apology of course but if you are new and/or shy then you accept that what you're being told is correct!

Oh how I wish we were able to rate the service we receive when we contact them!  Seems only fair in my mind - we are paying for this service too and how do Airbnb know that their third party Customer Service is not performing if we can't rate them?

I'm not aware of a way to complain about the service rendered but am interested to hear if there is a recourse though as some reps definitely do a disservice to the brand Airbnb.
