Hello!
My neighbors and I, the three of us own our respective homes that each of us airbnb. We'd like to offer our homes as a group compound so that we could appeal to larger family retreats and reunions etc. How can we combine our listing and sync calendars appropriately with our individual listings?

@Leslie615 This is such an interesting idea! Brainstorming:
Each duplicate your listing and then assign the other two as co-hosts to the duplicate and link the three that way? Of course each calendar would also have to be linked to its original to prevent double bookings, and as @Mike-And-Jane0 said I don’t know how you could effect that.
Create a new host account called [Your Three Names] and make one listing comprising all three places. But again you have the calendar sync issue to prevent double bookings. You probably can’t link calendars across multiple host accounts.
All become each others’ co-hosts and link them that way? Again can’t quite see how to link all the calendars, and the other obvious drawback would be too much access to each others’ individual listings.
I have three listings and under “Other things to note” I mention that all three can be booked together, without going to the extra step of creating a 4th listing for all three or linking the calendars. People have taken two or three of them together multiple times.
That sounds like quite an innovative thing to do @Leslie615!
I will ask a couple of the Community's experienced Hosts to stop by 😊
A penny for your thoughts @Nur785 @Ann72? Perhaps you haven't tried linking with listings from other Hosts but any insights about the idea?
Thank you, Breanna!
@Leslie615One of you could create a new listing covering all 3 houses but:
1) You will need to have it on request to book and
2) You will need to consider how to deal with tax as the listing owner will have the income reported against them.
You may be able to link calendars to deal with 1) above but I can't think how.
These are excellent points, thank you! I like the idea of one new listing to cover all 3 so we could advertise a single link.
I wonder if a channel manager would facilitate this somehow.

Ohhhh that last one sounds like a VERY good way to keep all the monies and calendars simple. Hmmm though it would be hard for us to somehow appeal to folks without having a larger listing that can collect reviews.
We'd need to manually sync calendars assuming that a big group would be booking very far in advance anyway.
Someone brought up the tax issue as a very good point, but we could simply split it 3 ways interally.
Yes, it's got its challenges @Leslie615 for sure. But as the larger listing probably isn't going to attract the majority of your annual bookings, I would just try it in a low-key way such as each of you putting the identical wording under "other things to note" and see what happens.
Great take, that certainly wouldn't cost us a thing either!
Just set it as a combo listing and says COMBO in listing title.
I have a similar situation too. Suggested airbnb to do it, but no response yet. Airbnb can do combo for different hosts at nearby locations but doesn’t allow hosts to set up a combo in their own accounts.
