Hi @Frank1860
I would suggest you post on the local host group for your part of Portugal and ask for recommendations from hosts on the group who have used co-host..
Do check out the reviews of those who are pitching to cohost for you. Someone will say they are superhosts but when you look at their profiles they have no experience as a host at all or have one higher rate properties and the rest are what Airbnb sees as failing listing is 4.60.
Hello @Frank1860 ,
Maybe we can help. We are Sónia & Darko, we were Superhosts on the Airbnb platform for more than 4 years.
We are open to any kind of collaboration. Let us know when it suits you to have a chat and how (whatsapp, zoom..)
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi @Sónia-and-Darko0
Ye we can chat in whatsapp
Just a summary of what we are looking for;
we (my wife and I)have 2 bed property in Tavira, we bought the property last year as holiday home and also investment, but because we live in England we need some one to manage the guest, cleaning up and receiving guest, also in case of emergency repairs.
I can see from your profile that you are in Lisbon, is this something you can manage from Lisbon.
Thanks so much and hope to hear from you soon.
Frank
@Frank1860 you really need someone who lives close to your listing so they can get to it easily to do spot checks on cleaners, be on hand easily if there are problem guests and who know local maintenance people.
Do check out reviews for those who want to cohost for you. They can be quite telling. So for example if someone wanting to cohost for you is regularly getting 4.6 regularly for cleaning/communications issues this is not something you would want if you are looking for superhost status. Also make sure you only work with cohosts who are willing to put the listing under your profile and be added as a cohost.
Thank you so much Helen for your advice.
Very helpful.
Hello @Frank1860 : Helen is totally right. Beware of the people on the forums who introduce themselves as … what they are. Luckily we live in the world of statistics and everyone can check who is good and who is a bad professional. Hopefully one day, these statistics will also include honesty, integrity, kindliness, and other human aspects that are not easy to calculate but are also very important in our sector. In the meantime, It is good that we have persons like @Helen3 who have time to give advice and allow them to judge others on a statistical basis, without knowing them, talking to them or taking in consideration other parameters such us ( taking over of listings, non-accuracy of location on airbnb profiles, cultural differences, reading 200 five-star reviews etc..).
Wish you good luck to find a cohost company in Algarve! Don´t trust anyone!
Thanks for your reply.
I am new on this hosting site and have asked for help from the community from any one who is got the experience, but please I don't want this conversation to become personal.
People can advice others based on what they have experienced and not necessary judging any one in particular.
Reviews are just there to help but they don't necessary mean the host is bad.
Thanks so much.
