We have an house behind our house that we always have listed on ABNB.
Today we listed our main house and went live with it but it can't be searched when we do a search. Is this just a timing issue? If so, how long will it take until it appears on searches/

Hi @Jonathan2963 😊,
Congratulations on listing your main house — that’s exciting!
It’s actually very common for a new listing not to appear in search right away, even if it shows as “Live” on your end. Airbnb’s search system needs time to index the listing, and the delay can range from a few hours to up to 24–48 hours.
Here are a few things you can double-check in the meantime, just to make sure nothing is blocking visibility:
1️⃣ Check your calendar availability
If the calendar is blocked — even by mistake — your listing won’t show at all.
Make sure you have at least one open date.
2️⃣ Confirm your location settings
Sometimes a tiny typo or map-pin mismatch can hide a listing from the area search.
3️⃣ Review your “Listing Status”
It needs to be set to Listed, not “Unlisted” or “Snoozed.”
Toggle it OFF then back ON — sometimes it forces Airbnb to refresh it.
4️⃣ Pricing must be set
Airbnb won’t show a listing if the nightly rate or minimum stay is missing.
5️⃣ Complete all required steps
The system hides listings missing:
Once all required fields are completed, indexing usually resolves itself.
How long does it take?
Most new listings show in search results within a few hours, but it can take up to 48 hours for Airbnb’s system to fully index.
If it still doesn’t appear after a full day, you can:
➡️ Go to Menu → Help → Contact Airbnb Support and ask them to “refresh listing visibility.”
It’s a quick fix on their end.
Airbnb delays showing the listing to guests for 24-72hrs after publishing. This is intentional, as it gives the Host time to finish the listing setup - there is alot more information and areas of the listing that require additional information. For instance, many of your amenities details are missing, there is no Where You'll Sleep section appearing and the Neighborhood section is missing?
I'm a bit confused though? It looks like this is the exact same property except the new listing has 3 bedrooms/2 baths?
