Listing Critique- Karen from Nairobi, Kenya

Hi hosts! please help me with my listing critique. I opened the place end of February and so far only 3 bookings. I have lots of views especially from social media but from the app averaging less than 10 views daily. What's the problem? I target to hosts groups and families but at this point I feel I could be hosting free of charge and no one will book. Here's a link https://airbnb.com/h/houseofkar

Hi @Karen4563 !  Your listing photos are very dark and blurry.😥.Some lighter photos would really help.  

You could use more staging and decor like throw pillows on the couches, throw blanket, some plants..  Open the drapes to get some more light in. 

The kitchen- not sure if that is a drying rack on the counter or where dishes are stored.  If possible I would put those away in cabinets.

The bedrooms could use some more oomph and color.  Think throw pillows with some pops of color and maybe a bed scarf.  

How about some pics of local attractions and things to do in the area?  

When you are sharing your listing on social media are you linking back to Airbnb?  If not you should and if you are only getting 10 views per day, I think once your picture presentation improves you will have more guests clicking through to your listing.

I will work on the photos. I actually thought the photos look fantastic 😅😅😅 but maybe I should redo them all!

I have noted two things:

quality of your photos not good, kindly engage a professional photographer to assist with quality photos.

Another thing, it’s a two bedroom which accommodates 4 guests.

4 beds over crowds your listing.
