Listing a Full House and Partial House

We have a mother-in-law apartment downstairs (1BD) that is currently listed. We are also planning to list the entire house (upstairs 2BD, plus the currently listed downstairs) so for a total of 3BD. We do not intend to rent the upstairs separately.  Any suggestions for how to manage the two?  Obviously, we cannot rent the two at the same time and I'm guessing we would need to create separate listings but wondering if there is a way to coordinate the two calendars so that we do not get double-bookings?

@Ruth-And-Fran1 Yes you need two listings and then you link the calendars to prevent double bookings. If you use the duplicate listing function be aware that the cancellation policy will default to flexible and the booking policy to Instant Book.

Once you have two listings you can consider blocking the 1 bed listing in high season to force people to book the whole place. Blocking one listing does not link through and block the other so if you do want a rest both need to be blocked manually.
