Listing flagged for removal due to duplicate listing...AGAIN

A property I cohost for had previously been flagged for being a duplicate listing of one that had been removed to due "quality" issues. The owners recently purchased the home and had no affiliation with the prior owners or knowledge of the quality issue when they purchased the home. After an arduous appeal process their listing was restored.

We received a new notice that the listing is once again being flagged for being a duplicate of a listing that had a prior "quality" issue. This is an error given we have already navigated the appeals process and I'm looking for support to remove this notice/planned removal and ensure this does not occur again.

I have reached out to traditional support, however, I have low confidence in receiving a resolution that is productive for this situation given prior experiences needing significant escalation & the ultimate resolution being achieved outside of the appeal or support channels.

Tragically, the Owner's primary residence was lost to a house fire yesterday, so I am working to do everything in my power to resolve this on their behalf given they are already navigating such a terrible life event.

Full details about our prior experience below:

- 2/7: received first notice of Duplicate listing

- I submitted an appeal immediately on behalf of the owners, providing documentation that the owners were new owners of the property and had no affiliation with the prior owners

- The Appeal was denied with no explanation provided; both the owners and I followed up with multiple rounds of support cases, all support feedback indicated that new owners & management should allow for the new listing to be created /exist

- No details were provided (due to confidentiality) about what the prior "quality issue" was - though in a support call, an agent did disclose that it was not with the physical house, but rather with the management / operation of it with Air BNB

- On 2/18, after a post to an AirBNB community forum, and some helpful folks being tagged, the listing was restored.

-Today, 3/27, we once again received a notice that the listing has been flagged for removal due to being a duplicate of a prior listing that had q

uality issues

@Marcie72

Sadly, this is a result of Airbnb relying on AI to search for duplicate listings and automatically suspend them. I don't see anything wrong with using automation to flag listings for review, but Airbnb should be using a human (or humans) to make the final decision on this and not 100% rely on automation, as this is the result.

Perhaps one of the moderators can forward this to the correct Team at Airbnb for review and prevent another "bot gone amuck" for these Hosts.
