Lock box not in the city center of Rome

Is anyone here hosting and renting out their property outside the city center of Rome and using a lockbox?

I understand there’s a new regulation in place, so I’m curious if anyone renting outside the city center is still utilizing a lockbox for self-check-in.

there is no new regulation but simply the Ministry of the Interior has reiterated that it is necessary to personally check the guests' documents at check-in, remote checks are not allowed. And this applies to all of Italy.
