Hello peeps,
We are new to Airbnb and general hosting. I'd like to ask you guys for some feedback and suggestions.
Thank you.
Hi @Ella8193 Welcome!
You have a nice looking place and guest should enjoy your space.
A couple of comments that may assist your "marketing"
1. Photographs: you have 18 shots, but several of them repeat the same subject, but from a changed angle... consider if these are all necessary.
Feature things in each room, but no need to repeat.
Many of the images appear "dull" and lifeless .. in photography much of the communication is done by light effects... get more light / contrast into your shots, using shadows to advantage the depth.
2. Why would a guest stay at your place?
a. What is there in the local environment that will peak the interest of potential guest? You name some sites in your description.... include photos of those places to get more interest. While you know what naming a place means, for those of us who have not been there, words alone are not enough.
b. What makes your place different from other places to stay? You mention the free parking, but what else sets your place above others? anything unique? great coffee? impressive shower? spotless cleaning, price..... you need to sell your place!
3. Reviews are important for potential guests.. use the first 3 stays discount, to get these reviews started... if your place is well liked, you needs guests to say that to others.
I hope this may assist you.... best wishes on your journey.
Regards, Graham
Hi @Ella8193 Congratulations on your listing. Too many duplicate photos, aim for 2 per room or less.
✅👍🏼
Thanks @Alex , the advice is coming from experience, had a tone of pics before, including professional, but did not look and feel right.
I try to fit in what is needed, bed, kitchen, bathroom.
People don't want or have time to go into 10 photos when trying to book.
I also leave 1/2 things off as a nice surprise for guests when they arrive.
All the best 🙏🏼
Hi @Ella8193 ! 😊
Your studio already looks bright, clean, and welcoming — great start!
A few tips:
Make the cover photo your best angle and show multiple photos of all areas, including any special features.
Highlight what makes your place unique in the title and description, and break the text into easy-to-read sections.
Double-check amenities and consider small extras (coffee setup, local guide, extra toiletries).
Price competitively, respond quickly, and encourage first guests to leave reviews.
With these small tweaks, your listing will attract more bookings! 🌟
Hi Ella!,
omg! I luv your place!
my only suggestion would be to edit the photos so they are all move and bright - or hire a photographer- so it flows. Daytime photos of the bridge would be lovely as well. Luv, luv, luv it! 🥰💛🥰
Kindest regards,
Jamie
Hi @Alex ,
I use Snapseed, Canva, or just my iPhone to edit photos. I use Canva when I want to envision a new piece of furniture in a space. 💛
Hi @Ella8193!
