Hey! I've put my place up as a listing on airbnb. When i try to test-book it within the available date range, it gets featured as a split-stay with another host. I am not sure why it doesn't get its own listing like everyone else?
Hello @Amr1
Don't worry too much about this as every search will come up differently every time. I'm pretty certain that if you make another search now you'll see that your listing is offered without this split stay coming up.
I'm totally baffled by this split stay option that Airbnb offers and can't imagine many guests wanting to change accommodation mid way through a stay to go only a few meters away but frustrating for hosts when their dates are available on their calendar.
All the best Amr

Thank you Joelle!
Yes, I was under the assumption it was between two places owned by the same landlord. But now i'm baffled that it's between two completely different owners.
Not that there is a need to have this split, since my calendar is open and unblocked.
Thanks Shelley!
I have a minimum stay of 20 days.
Any dates between 23 Feb 2025 and 26 July 2025.
Hi @Amr1 😊,
Thank you so much for asking this questions here!
I'm happy you found many hosts to discuss this with. 😍
Would you mind marking the 'Top Answer' if you find one particularly useful?
Warm regards 🌻,

Me too! I can't understand it and don't see any answers in response to your question. Frustrating.
The answer would be solved if Airbnb allowed guests to switch off this awful feature in their search but it's currently not possible unfortunately! It is a massive waste of time for guests and doesn't serve hosts either.
