My listing status is active with green dot but does not show and there are only two other listings in my town?

Why does my listing not show when I do a search.

1. The town where i am listed only has two other listings so the reason can't be too many.

2. My listing is active with green dot.

Is it because I have only created listing today?

Hello @Fiona107 

Your listing is live and dates are bookable but you need to go back and complete all the new sub headings that appear after going live.  Initially we only 500 words to describe our place and then once published a whole new world appears with no word limitations.

Currently your listing indicates that you do not provide hot water or heating!! Only 8 amenities showing - again a whole new list will appear for you to click and dramatically increase this number if you go back and double check.  

Your listing offers a double bed but you only allow 1 person so when you make a search make a search for 1 person and for dates that are open on your calendar.  You should find that you will appear in the search with these criteria filled in.

it appears the amenities are not appearing in full for me to select.   I can't add an ev charger

Hi Joelle,  I have finally found using '+' and not edit has allowed me to add 22 amenities.  My listing says active with green dot and you confirmed you could see my listing so I am very puzzled as to why I can't see my listing when I do a search and I am logged out. 

When I do a search I use Leyburn, 1 adult, 18 - 21 April,  ev charger .  What am I doing wrong?

I replied to your other post regarding not being able to find the EV in the listing description but glad you found out how to add it.

I've made a search too in private mode with the same dates you mention and with EV charger and can't find you either.  Your listing hasn't been verified by Airbnb (location spot is red when verified rather than black as in your case) so don't know if this has something to do with it?  It might just be that you have to wait a day or two more for you to appear in a search result🤞

I made another private search for you under Rooms this time and couldn't find you either.  Are there any legal requirements in operation in the UK to conduct business as a Bed & Breakfast?  There is in France so just wondering?

I'll tag a fellow host who may be able to give her insight as she rents out a room in her home too.  @Helen3
