Need ONE day prep time - not two or none

When/why did we lose one-day prep time?

I do not need a day before AND a day after to prep the room.

I only need a day before OR a day after a booking to prep the room.

Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this?

I only see the option to choose both or none.

@Patti16 Actually you do need a day before and after blocked if you want to guarantee a day between bookings. If the system didn't do this then someone could book to check out on the day an already booked guest checks in.

My 'solution' is: when I get a booking I go to the calendar and block the following day in my Airbnb and Direct calendars and double check the VRBO one to make sure it picked up the change. In this way I could put 1 day or 2 or 3 depending what side of the bed I get up from that particular day. It is a very scientific approach. 🙂
