New Host from Islamabad – Need Help to Increase Bookings

Hello everyone

I’m a new host from Islamabad, Gulberg Greens, running my property “The Luxe Stop.”

I’ve recently started hosting and would love to learn how to make my listing more visible and attract more bookings on Airbnb.

I’d really appreciate any tips or experiences from other hosts — what worked best for you in the beginning?

I’m especially interested in:

  • Improving visibility in search results
  • Getting my first few 5-star reviews
  • Setting the right pricing for daily or weekly stays

Thank you in advance!

Looking forward to connecting with other hosts and learning from this amazing community.

Warm regards,

Zeeshan (The Luxe Stop Islamabad)

@Sheikh-Muhammaz0 Your listing says: 4 guests, 1 bedroom, 1 bed.

Description says: upto 5 guests

I suggest to update the available bedrooms or beds.

(The pictures shows already there are multiple beds).

You offer 20% discount (new hosts special offer), but also on long term stays. That is probably not what you want.

Maybe consider to start with short stays anyway, generating more reviews and hosting experience.

Hi @Sheikh-Muhammaz0 👋

Welcome to hosting, and congratulations on starting “The Luxe Stop” Islamabad has such great potential for travellers!

Here are a few things that can help increase your visibility and early bookings:

Update something every few days. Even small edits (photo order, first line of your description, or calendar refresh) help Airbnb’s system see your listing as active, which can boost search ranking.

Lead with your best photo and title. Choose your brightest, widest photo as the cover and make sure your title includes one key benefit for example, “Modern 1-bed Apartment in Gulberg Greens with Free Parking.”

Set a strong first-month price strategy. Slightly below-market pricing at the start helps you get those crucial first 2–3 reviews faster. Once you have them, you can raise prices gradually.

Respond fast and warmly. Quick replies and friendly messages build trust and also help your listing rank higher in search.

Encourage early reviews naturally. After checkout, send a short thank-you note: “It was lovely hosting you. I’ve just left you a review and would appreciate your feedback too.” That gentle reminder really works.

You’re already off to a great start by asking questions here with a few small tweaks, you’ll start seeing more visibility and steady bookings soon. 😊
