Hi, I manage a property for an Owner. He is selling his property at the end of July. I have bookings after that. What do I do...

Hey everyone! I’ve been an Airbnb host for over 4 years and typically had pretty steady back-to-back bookings. I recently had to take one of my listings off the platform for a bit, and just reposted it along with a brand new listing — but I’m struggling to get bookings on either one now.
It feels strange because I’ve never had this kind of slowdown before. Has anyone else noticed a drop in bookings lately? Any advice or insight would really help — I’m open to trying anything right now!
Thanks in advance
Sorry to hear that.
What research did you do around supply and demand before launching your two new listings @Maressa3
Many markets are suffering from over saturation and of course the Trump affect has led to a massive fall in visitors from overseas countries particularly in Europe where we have no travel warnings to the US, Canada and the Middle East.
I researched pricing in nearby areas and have been adjusting my rates weekly based on demand @Helen3 . I also added discounts and changed the listing names to improve visibility. One of the listings had only been off the platform for about four months—I made a few updates to the space and had it professionally photographed before relaunching. I’m continuing to monitor performance and stay flexible with strategy.
Sorry I wasn't talking about pricing I'm talking about supply and demand for your sort of listing in your location? @Maressa3
@Maressa3 I had to pause 1 of my listings for some work being done on the pool for about a month. When I relisted it I had zero bookings for months 😑. I think you go to the bottom of the sort when the listing is not being seen or having any activity.
I was then going to be using the listing personally for a few months. What I did was pause it while I was staying there and then reluanched it with new pics, headlines, price discount about 30 days before it was going to be available. Not sure what worked but the bookings have picked up thankfully for that particular listing.
As far as the new listing are you offering a new listing discount for the first 3 bookings? That really helps things get going. How about your pricing? Are you on par for like listings in your immediate area?
Thanks for the insight @Karen114 . For one of my listings, I did offer a 20% discount for the first three bookings. Out of those, only two guests left reviews. I’ve since adjusted and am now offering up to 15% off for new bookings for both listings.
The new listing has had over 900 views in the past 30 days, and I’ve even opened it up for 1-night stays to encourage more traffic, but still no new bookings. I’ve also updated the photos, headlines, and pricing regularly to stay competitive with similar listings in the area. Not sure what else to try at this point.
Hallo Matessa
There’s decline in bookings globally. There’s less and less travelers.
The algorithm system doesn’t favor some listings.
For example in my search you find newly created listings get more bookings than old ones.
