New listing…. New host

New listing…. New host

Hey fellow hosts and Airbnb experts!

I've just started my Airbnb/VRBO journey in British Columbia, Canada, and I'm looking for some advice. I've got a few listings live, but unfortunately, I'm not getting any bookings yet

Can anyone take a look and offer some insights? What am I doing wrong? Are there specific platforms or software tools that can help increase visibility and attract bookings?

Any tips or guidance would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance for your help!

@Neil856

I see you own 4 listings. They all seem to offer accommodation in the same building.

There are recent reviews, so there have been bookings !

I noticed all listings are in the search system.

I suggest to look at your statistics ("insights") and check "amount of views".

Thank you 🙏

what can I do so my listing gets noticed snd booked. Should I use platformd like Hostaway, Hospitable, Guesty, pricelab etc…. It seems to me that I am not exposing my property well, but do not know how to

What's demand and supply like for your type of listings in your location @Neil856

@Neil856 When i look online, i see atleast 10 listings in my area. I don’t know how to find information on demand for this area

You can use websites like Airdna @Neil856

it's key when starting up an STR business to look at how busy your market is likely to be in your area. For your sort of listing.

Thank you

Hi @Helen3 😊

Thank you so much for helping Neil!

Do you have any idea how to check the demand and supply in a specific area?

Hi @Neil856 😊

Welcome to the Community Center, and thank you for asking for help here.

How many listings do you have right now?

Have you been able to discuss with hosts in your area to see if it’s just a slow booking period?

4 listings … all in same building i live  in. How do I connect with other hosts? I see their listings but how do i approach them. I do not want to upset anyone.
