Only able to host long term stays?

I  was looking at my availability settings as I have not been getting any bookings and noticed that my minimum stay length was set to 29 days.  I tried to change it and received the message "You can only host long term stays..."  I have no idea why this is happening.  I have been a host for 3 years and actually prefer not to host long term stays.  We host anywhere from a night to a couple of weeks typically.  Anyone know why this message comes up?

@Jason1959 does your jurisdiction require you to only take long term stays?

Hello @Jason1959

This kind of message is generally due to a non compliance of some rule or another that has been put in place recently for STR's.  I took a quick look on internet and it seems that there is a new regulation for hosting in Denver according to the link below and it allows you to check if you qualify and if you have all the necessary paperwork for renting a room in your primary house.

New Anti Airbnb laws are coming into place thick and fast all over the world😩

All the best
