if you look at the useful community guides on this community it will help you understand what's involved in setting up as a new host

No one can tell you about projected income . It depends on multiple factors including what the market rate is for your type of property in your location - have you looked to see what other hosts are charging? And likely demand.

You may have short term rental regulations in your location- check with your local government.
