Our beautiful, weather-beaten tree overlooking the Currituck Sound. Oh, the stories it could tell!
Hello, all!
I would love to get your feedback on my listing for our guest house. I started with AirBnb in May 2025, and would love to have a steady stream of guests visiting. I appreciate any and all feedback.
Thank you,
Sheellah

@Christopher2309 You have a very nice guest house. The biggest thing that pops out at me is you need professional photos of your place. Right now the photos don't truly capture your amazing property. Professional photos will enhance and show your property with the best angles and light.
Second, I think you have to many photos. Your photos need to tell a story about your place. Right now your photos don't really do that. It is also ok to leave a little to the imagination by not showing every detail of your property.
I would also recommend updating your descriptions for the upcoming season. Now that summer is over, let guest know what there is to do there in the fall. Your listing needs to be ever changing to market to your future guest.
Maybe talk about what there is to do as a couple. Could this be a cute couples getaway retreat? Think outside the box and try different things. This is not a set it and forget industry.
I hope this was helpful and good luck.

Hi, Joe.
Thank you for your kind words, and providing me with plenty of tips to improve my listing. I greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

@Christopher2309 , I'll tag host @Joe771 in your comment so the host can see your appreciation note 🌻
Joe also shared an amazing marketing idea to update the listing as per the upcoming fall season @Christopher2309 ! What do you think about updating the listing accordingly?
Hi @Christopher2309 , the views from your listing are breathtaking 😍 Looks like a perfect spot for sunrise and sunsets.
Is there a reason why you call your listing as "The Epilogue"? I wonder if there's a beautiful story behind this name!
The description should represent the kind of clients you are seeking, you cant be all things to all people. Try and attract the people who will enjoy what is on offer and will give you a great review.
