Promotions of %20 on my listing when applied it shows a much higher decrease in price/night

I would appreciate if anyone has an opinion or a sugestion for my exact question. I was manually setting my price for $120 ( smart pricing not activated) . I set a %20 discount and the final price is $49 to &61 ( instead of $96).  Is anyone in this same position and got the issue resolved?

Hi @Raluca54

The promotion does not take 20% off the price you entered for that night. Instead, it looks at the median for 60 days. Here's the full explanation:

Hello Shelley

Im familiar with this article  and my median for the 60 days is even higher then $120 . Any other advice that you can provide? Thank you

Hi @Raluca54

It's hard to analyse it more as I can't see historical prices. In case it helps you, here's the discount that displays in the guest view when I try to book 23 to 25 October. This is the discount on the nightly rate only, before the cleaning fee and Airbnb service charges are added.
