Question on editing booking dates when on other side of the world

I manage a property on the east coast of the United States. I am currently in the middle east a time zone difference of +7 hours. The challenge I'm having is that when my phone/computer detects I'm in a new day here it doesn't let me edit the date of a property that still hasn't hit that day.

 

For example, let's say in the middle east country I'm in, it is 1am on the 8th day of the month. Back on the east coast it would be 6pm on the 7th. I might want to reduce the price of the property to try to get someone to book it. The app and website do not allow me to edit the 7th thinking that that day has ended when in reality it's only ended where I'm physically at. Where the property is physically located it's still the previous day. This is frustrating and surprising that noone has encountered this before. 

 

I think when viewing the calendar it should respect the time zone of the property not where the user happens to be located.

 

I understand I could probably edit the time zone of my personal electronics but that has other undesired ramifications besides its inherent inconvenience.

You have identified the problem and the fix, even though inconvenient. I would change a less used device (tablet or laptop) to your local time zone instead of your phone and use that device to make your changes while traveling. If you only have your phone, then you will need to change the settings on the phone to accomplish this knowing the time will be off.
