Stats View not updating.

Stats View not updating.

In the Stats tab, my views statistics haven't updated. It says data is delayed for 3 days but last view stat is on April 2.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Top Answer

@Jill381 and @JayandWayne0  It's a global problem. No one is getting the views updated. AirBnB is aware of the issue, but has given no timeframe for the fix.

My Stats view bar has not updated since May 12. I have been waiting to see if Airbnb will fix this but it hasn't happened. How do we get this message through to their IT guys to fix it?

Yep, I have 2 listings and one stopped updating.  I was checking on the views since I haven't gotten inquiries despite slashing the price.  It's strange . . . tech support yesterday told me they'd have to get back to me because they weren't sure what's going on.  He assured me my listing was showing up in results, but not feeling very reassured.

I've got a message from support, that this change is permanent. But what we can still do is to leave a feedback about  missing Views in Stats tab and hope that airbnb will consider hosts' needs:

I called in two different times and got two completely different answers about the stats page.  First time was several weeks ago and someone told me that it just temporarily down and would be back up in a couple of days.  Called in to follow up just a couple of days ago and I had another guy tell me that he can't see the hosts stats page but that he seemed to think what ever changes were made were based on client feed back.  I told him there is no way this could be based on feedback the way it's set up now.

With being valued at $25 billion and that revenue coming from hosts I'm quite surprised they have taken this long and their customer support are so clueless as to the current stats page.

I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one as I originally thought it was just me.

So rediculous all the money Airbnb is earning, yet they cannot fix any problems for months on end. Spend a little more money on your IT department Airbnb!

If they are getting rid of the stats table, that's such a stupid decision. It was such a vital part for so many of us. I doubt anyone would have complained about it and asked for it to be gone! Also they need to inform their entire staff about changes like this, so we don't end up with many different responses from airbnb, therefore being left in the dark for literally months about issues.

Losing this view option for Stats is a big deal, and if other hosts are as upset as me, please send Airbnb your feedback and ask for it back. Use this link:

Here's what I have sent Airbnb via Feedback:

BRING BACK STATS VIEWS! Please!

It has been really frustrating that Airbnb has taken away the ability for hosts to see how many times their listing is viewed compared to others in our area (that we know are truly comparable). This essential feature was vital for many reasons!

*This gave us, as hosts, the ability to see exactly what the area's demand is for any given day/weekend, but even more importantly...
*It told hosts how they measure up compared to others.
*This view let us see exactly how many times we were viewed compared to how many potential guests were viewing other listings in the area, so how much of the market are we capturing?
*If we aren't capturing many views, what do we need to change? Title, price, policies...???
*This information enabled us to strategize our pricing and terms to try to increase views, which leads to bookings.
* This feature helped us to schedule our own travel around the lowest demand times so that we don't miss out on the best opportunities for bookings.
*For a newbie like me, I could look back through the previous year and see which dates during holiday periods had the most travelers - is it Christmas week, or really the week before? Now, I don't know since Airbnb deleted this feature. Dang, I didn't make notes because I had no warning that it was going away...can't tell you how disappointed, frustrated, irritated... I am!

***What I know - my total number of requests and bookings significantly dropped when comparing only 3 weeks during April that we were live to 4 whole weeks of May, and this is timed with the approach of my area's peak season, so doesn't make sense. Yikes, what happened?
*Losing this feature is a HUGE loss!
*PLEASE, bring it back!
Elise
P.S. I've called several times, and can't get any answer as to was the loss of this feature planned or accidental and something that is being worked on fixing...no one at Customer service seems to have a clue. Again, more frustration.

Hello all,

I have taken the advice from  @Elise-and-Frank0 and have been writing to Airbnb everyday. The website for feedback is: https://www.airbnb.com/help/feedback  (make sure to go to hosting tools)

You are more than welcome to copy and paste my message to send.

Why have stats for host  reguarding views to their property if it does not show the viewings for the future? Is this a bug? We host have heavily relied on the feature to price our listings based on looks/views. This was a horrible judgement call by Airbnb if they have decided to get rid of it, and makes us host think that you are not favorable to us. Please remember us, the little guys who also want to make a profit like Airbnb.

This is September 6th, 2016. I'm not sure if this problem is fixed. I noticed the stats was stopped updating since August 30. And I don't have any new iquires nor new booking for both my listing for a couple weeks now. Should I be worried?

Note: both my places were 99% booked through out the last 3 months.

I am relatively new to this and have really relied on the stats to see how I was travelling. The updates have stopped working for me as well.  It looks like this has been a problem for a long time and still not fixed. What can I do about it. Any suggestions?

Supposedly they have done away with Stat views for future. It was a bad decision, but I have found out that once Airbnb gets you as a host, they really dont care what you think..In my opinion.. I wrote them consistently telling them how much of an assest this was to the host. But nothing from them.....crickets..

What's going on Airbnb with the stats page?  This is a vital tool for managing pricing.  Give us an answer.

Hello. If I look at the views on the ststs it has not updated since Aug 23 but I am being shown a number of views in September. Which one is correct or where should I direct the question

Many thanks

You say you have problem because you can´t see how many people visit your page. Wait until Airbnb starts reversing the count of the stars you earned as it is doing in my account and in the account of many other listings that have crossed 200 reviews. That is a REAL problem!

Called today to complain about the same thing MONTHS after this thread was originally started, and customer service still says the same thing....a technical issue.  I've only been a member for about a month but this is the second time that my views have been delayed about 6 days.  Frustrating.  I think people are still able to view and contact me if they wish to, so that's not affected, but I'd really like to see how much viewing traffic I'm generating.
