Hello community,
I just posted my property and am looking for some constructive criticism.
An Air B & B support staff has just told me that my description could use a tweek.
I happen to agree and now wonder if there are other things i could improve.
Thank you in advance for your time and wisdom.
Listing link: Rental unit in Saint-Sauveur · ★New · 2 bedrooms · 6 beds · 1 bath
[Listing link added and title modified by OCM]
From your title: "rental unit" to your description- quite short and not very informative- yes, there's room for improvement. I don't know what "La Montana" is. Will anyone else who is looking for a property know?
Rental unit: where-location? how many bedrooms? condo-house-guest room? The title character space is limited, but you need to use it to the max.
You're trying to sell something here.
Key words are key.
You've also not used the "about this space" area. Your paragraph about your space says nothing about the space.
You're trying to sell something here!
Use the "about this space" area to describe your listing in more detail. Update the title to include key information.
Use the captions feature along with your photos to describe the unit. Add more photos if appropriate.
You have neither Air Conditioning, Heat, or Hot Water listed as amenities. That doesn't sound very comfortable to me. Go over the Amenities section and fill in everything that you have.
You need to poke around on the listing editor page and fill in all of this missing information. Throw some key words into your description. Guests want to know something about the property they are renting. AirBnB makes this fairly easy, so utilize it.
Your calendar is set for a 60 day rental minimum. Is that intentional?
You should definitely go over all the details and almost redo the entire listing. Good luck.
Took a quick look at your listing and a few suggestions:
Title
Your title should highlight your best amenities. For example:
"Ski-in/out! | Fireplace | Patio/Deck"
Missing Sections On Listing
You are missing entire sections of the listing and alot of information that guests need when making a booking decision. Suggest you go back to the Listing Editor and click every box (Airbnb calls them "cards") on the left side. Be sure to complete all the sections on the right panel that appear.
Amenities
Go to the amenities section and click every amenity you have. Don't forget to add the edits indicated by the pencil icon. Your listing says you are missing important items like hot water and heat? You are only indicating 12 amenities and most listings have around 50. Click "All" at the top of the amenities list to see the entire list. Click edit at the top to add the pencil icon edits. Below are the amenities Airbnb considers important and they are showing you don't have them indicated by the strike through:
Decor/Furniture
Probably need to warm up the space, as it seems a bit dark and bare from the photos. Professional photos are best. You're trying to "comfy", "cozy" and clean to guests. I would add some art for the walls, throw blankets for the couch and chairs and maybe some artificial plants. Add a coffee table book, coasters, other simple decor. Most guests want coffee at a minimum in the kitchen, but you don't mention a coffee maker/coffee in your amenities and no photo of a coffee station?
Photos
I would add more photos and inciude a photo of where the condo is in relation to the ski slope. Most ski areas have a map. I would include that with your photos with an arrow showing where your listing is. I would also get some photos of snow when you can, as you are coming into the ski season and that is what guests are interested in. You can change your photos back to summer photos when the season chages.
Photo Captions
Add captions/descriptions to every photo so guests know what they are looking at. Highight in the photo what the guest can enjoy about the space.

Hello @Juan-Carlos415, thank you so much for reaching out to our host community for suggestions on your listing.
Some of our most experienced hosts have shared their opinions. Have you had the chance to read them? Have you thought about modifying the title as suggested by Joan?
Keep us posted!
@Juan-Carlos415 As amenities Airbnb offers simple things like cleaning products, bed linens, coffee maker, blender, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, etc. as amenities. Are you offering any of them?
You're inviting people to come to the snow to ski, etc., but you indicate there's no heat or hot water in the
"Not included:" section.
Show some more outdoor picture and some of the resort.
Good luck!

Hello @Juan-Carlos415 ,
This is a beautiful listing and an inviting house. I would lighten up the images inside the home. Others have provided the feedback that I would have shared as well.
Best,
Li
Beautiful! Looks great so far! It’s a process for sure! I’d say, sit down after work, pull up the app as a traveler and look at the listings near you. Imagine you’re staying at your own place. Spend a night there as a guest and think abt what you’re experiencing, note it and then add your thghts the next day. Try to slow down, be present, complete the listing and then bring it on back to the community! It took me a good couple weeks to finish my listing, so be patient with yourself and the process. There’s amazing advice here already but I think a slow down to complete what you’re trying to do here (market a listing) wld help to start😌 Good luck!
