Summer release 2025 Home Tab

After reading and watching the update video I don’t seem to be able get rid of things listed on the Home Tab.

For instance, on the Home Tab for Today it says I don’t have any reservations (which is correct for today) but apparently I have 1 follow-up. It doesn’t tell me what that is and I’ve no idea what it can be. I’ve done feedback for my last guest, I’ve reached out to my next guest so I’ve no idea what is expected of me & I can’t delete it.
Similarly it tells me on the same screen that I can read my last guest’s review - which I’ve done and this was 3 days ago.
Will this notification about reading the last review stay there until the review period has expired - which means my Home Tab could get crowded with out of date messages?

How do you get rid of messages from your Home Tab?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Buongiorno @Carole695 ,

I also have the same problem and haven't found a solution yet.

Also, I was saddled with the new release without me ever requesting it!

Hi @Carole695 and @Andrea6232,

Thanks so much for bringing this up — you're definitely not alone! I’ve noticed similar issues with the new Home Tab from the Summer 2025 release. Some of the follow-up reminders and review prompts seem to stick around longer than necessary, even after the action has clearly been completed.

At the moment, Airbnb doesn’t provide an option to manually dismiss or clear these messages from the Home Tab, which is frustrating, especially when you're trying to keep your dashboard organized.

A few suggestions that might help in the meantime:

Double-check the “Inbox” and “Performance” sections in case the follow-up is tied to something less obvious (like a guest message or an unreviewed stay).

Use the “Give Feedback” link in your account (under Help > Contact Us > Feedback) to report this UI issue — the more hosts who speak up, the more likely Airbnb will fix or improve it in future updates.

If the stuck reminders are impacting your workflow, you might consider using the Airbnb desktop version, which sometimes displays information a bit more cleanly than the mobile app.

I completely agree that there should be a clearer way to manage what shows up on the Home Tab — hopefully Airbnb will refine this in the next round of updates.

Thank you for your message and I’ll try anything at this stage.
Good idea about the feedback to Airbnb - why didn’t I think of that? 🙄

Thanks again and all the best
