TIPS FROM YOUR GUESTS

Hello Hosts!

I am wondering if your guests ever leave you a monetary TIP for hosting them?  And speaking of TIPS,  do they make suggestions on how you can improve your AIRBNB business as well?  Thanks for replys and likes!   Eileen

Hi @Eileen462 ,

As a general rule, if you’re renting a room out, tips may be appropriate, but if you’re renting out the entire house or apartment without you being there, then there’re no tips, because there’s no one servicing the guests. 
As for recommendations, some of my guests did indeed make them, for example for a high chair for their toddler and as a result I now provide it to my guests who arrive with their small children.

Tips? **. We’ve been hosting since 2016 and had one tip. We even drive some guests to the cruise ship and only had three offer to pay for gas. The reason they book with us is because of the price and we are close to the pier. And we do get suggestions like we should make them breakfast and dinner. LOL 😂

I would say as a homeshare host I would never ask for tips or accept them @Said208 @Eileen462

Guests do not leave tips.
I ask every guest if they have suggestions for improvement:

"If there were anything that went wrong or any suggestions on how we could improve, we would be grateful if you let us know privately, as we welcome your feedback and would love to improve."
