Thoughts on my Listing? - The Bayside Suite: Boundary Bay, Delta, B.C., Canada

Hi everyone! I have been hosting my space with my husband for 8 years. It has been so long that I am wondering if there are some blind spots we are missing or could improve on! I would love to hear some honest feedback on your impressions of our listing and what improvements we could make. It is an older home (80's) with only DIY improvements; our family lives above. It is not fancy, but it is clean and comfy... - a great homebase for travelers exploring or families wanting to chill at the beach with a homebase close by.

What do you think of the wording of the listing? The photos? The availability and pricing etc etc... Thank you for your time!!

Dear Shannon. Many thanks for choosing me and give me the trust to give you feedback. What I missed was some text about “to do” activities, possible places to visit or some other tips for guests. Maybe I just cant see it. 
excluding that, your place looks great!!! I would definitely book it,)

Hi Rory and Shannon loved browsing through your beautiful listing. In general wording is spot on, you may want to reference your host guide in the listing description for details on shopping groceries ect. 

photos: lead with an overall pic for each space, make sure, as possible, to capture everything in each space in the overall pics, then you can follow the overall pics with the zoomed pics you have. Spaces should include at least each of your two bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, dining room, living room, front entrance, parking spot, back yard. 

I appreciate the candid info ref noise since this is a lower level and your family lives upstairs, is there anything you guys can say about how and if you try to minimize the noise ( for example during night time after say 8 pm or so are quite hours till 6 am ect)

You know what is cool other Hosts have mentioned when they live upstairs.  Put those white noise machines in the bedrooms.  Sell as a positive ocean sounds to fall asleep really surrounds that beach vacation.

@Marie8425 That is a great idea! I thought of providing earplug - haha - however, those are not comfortable for everyone to wear. We do provide electric fans, but a proper white noise machine would be nice also!

Yes, definitely looking forward to updating our photo profile with some wider angle shots as a few have suggested as well as looking into providing some options for noise mitigation. Appreciate everyone's time and input!

@Shannon1215 Super clean looking photos! Most of your photos are very up close to highlight amenities, which is great, but as a guest I personally like to see shots of the space in a wider frame than you have, in order to imagine myself in the space. I hope that's helpful!
