Time it takes for new listing to be visible

Hi,

I have listed my room for airbnb almost half an hour back and if my friends try to check it they do not see my listing in my area. However, in my profile it shows listed with a green button.

Does it take sometime for listing to be visible to public?

Your listing is live and guests can book your place if that helps.  It can take up to 72 hour to appear but not the case for you.

Ask your friends to put in the location and your setting is set up for only 1 person so if they put 2 people, it will not show up.  If you have a minimum stay, you need to let them know about that too.

Yes, new listings can sometimes take a few hours or up to 72 hours to appear in search results. Also, remind your friends to match the search criteria—like location, number of guests (you have it set for 1), and minimum stay—so your listing shows up properly.

After publishing, your listing will be in a pending state until you complete identity verification.

Update your calendar to reflect availability.

Today tab is  your hosting dashboard.

Guests might be able to find your listing in search results within 24 hours after you publish it, so update your availability and booking settings as soon as possible.
