Two identical listings with different "Smart Pricing" prices

I have two cabins that are identical and set them up with smart pricing.  Why would the prices be drastically different?  My range is set to the same amount, discounts all lined up, fees, etc...  The listing information with a duplicate, so the features are all the same.  Guest counts, bed counts, all the same.

Any idea as to why they are different?  Thanks!

@Kris5123 Probably because one listing has more bookings than the other OR its available dates are  for more expensive nights

OR smart pricing is just dumb.

Who knows!

Hi @Kris5123

This might be a good reason not to use "Smart" pricing. Many Hosts either price manually or use a 3rd party dynamic pricing software attached to their Airbnb account. That said, whether you use Smart Pricing or another software, it's never set and forget. You have to keep an eye on it and tweak where needed.

Hi @Kris5123,  welcome to the Airbnb Community Center!

Two of our experienced Hosts have shared their advice. Could it be that one of your listings has more bookings or a more available calendar?

Keep us posted 😊
