Hi all, our new Airbnb listing is located on the banks of the Shenandoah River in Shenandoah, Virginia, with beautiful river ...
Is there any update if Air BNB will let me transfer bookings to another host (I'm not referring to a co-host). For example a property management company. I want to honor the bookings but it just won't be me as the host for the property. Any options from Air BNB on this. All the other posts I've seen seem to be from 2020 or earlier
Hi there @Heather1901 👋
Was @Mike-And-Jane0's answer correct, or did you manage to find a different solution?
Looking forward to hearing from you,

@Rebecca Trust me - I am right. But that is not to say that Airbnb is not wrong - It is (wrong: if you follow the tripe negatives). Not allowing transfers of bookings when ownership changes is not helpful to guests and hosts alike. Yes there should be an opportunity for the guest to cancel and it should be made clear the host has changed but neither of these are insurmountable.
Thanks @Mike-And-Jane0, you're much more qualified in this than me! I was just checking if @Heather1901 agreed, and hoping that they might mark it as a best answer if so 😊
Agree that it would be useful to us hosts and would be nice for Air B&B to come up with a solution.
HOWEVER - from a guest perspective, the Host Reviews are part of the selection process. Who wants to book based on an awesome Host with a reputation for bringing fresh baked muffins in the morning just to get swapped to a Property Management Co who uses "Dear Guest" templates and knows nothing about the house or community.
Sorry - I know this is a Non-Solution post, but I do think a little context/perspective helps guide us Hosts toward finding solutions.
When Air B&B couldn't help me switch a guest to another host (long story- my fault) I communicated directly to the guest and they seemed happy enough to re-book with the new host with a mia-culpa from me and a hefty discount.
