What is REALLY covered by airbnb?
I am airbnbing my apartment for the first time, it's a converted warehouse space. I spent a lot of money on the renovation, including the cabinetry, walls, and floorboards. Will this get covered by airbnb if there is significant damage by a guest? obviously know normal wear and tear won't be covered.
An example is we have our kitchen cupboards all cut from a single tree (so the grain matches). If a guest were to damage one, would the single cost of its replacement (not matching) be covered, or the whole set to retain to original quality?
Thanks!

@Mollie51 Most proper insurance policies will not goos far as to cover matching wood grain. Aircover is not a proper insurance policy and only pays a depreciated amount so I doubt it will cover you to the extent you desire. We do not rely on Airbnb to provide our insurance cover.

Hi @Mollie51
Have you looked at the T&C for the Airbnb Guarantee to see what is covered and what isn't ? That should be your starting point.
airbnb only covers a depreciated amount for replacement goods .
the guarantee is limited and not a replacement for you having your own home insurance for STR s for your business.
